New fall exhibits, five in all, are now on view at Summit Artspace. Transitions, ceramics by Allison Elia and paintings by Eli Donahue, opened in the Summit Artspace Gallery on Friday, October 17.
The opening receptions continued on the third floor where four additional exhibits are on display. Akron Society of Artists Paint en Plein Air, which officially opened earlier in the month during the Artwalk, fills the ASA Gallery. At the BOX gallery All Monsters Attack!, a group show curated by Ted Mallison, is a paean to pop culture monsters in celebration of Godzilla’s 60th birthday. Temporary walls showcase the Impressions of Holy Trinity Art Show, marking the 100th anniversary of Akron’s Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Fellow studio artist, Katina Pastis Radwanski, deftly redesigned her studio into a gallery for Apron – Interpretations in Painting and Sculpture.
